August 2025. The filthiest most disgusting beach I've ever been to in Thailand and I've been living here for 20 years. The tourists (who are drinking and chain smoking totally oblivious to what's right next to them) are sun bathing and around them all you see is plastic and trash for miles. Then to make it better, the horse guys. They give people rides on horses up and down the beach all day and the horses are pissing and crapping on the sand. You're walking on horse piss and crap. I personally watched one horse take a piss in front of me and another took an enormous dump in front of the hotel and because it's rainy season the waves are strong so they got all the way to the front of the hotel and just washed the crap off into the ocean. So you're sun bathing next to trash and stepping on horse piss soaked sand and water that just washed off horse crap. I knew Phuket wasn't my thing and I hadn't been here in 11 years. I loved my hotel but I will never come back to Phuket. You can have it.

Ein wunderschöner Strand mit herrlicher Atmosphäre. Besonders lobenswert ist, wie sehr sich die Einheimischen bemühen – jeden Morgen wird der Strand sorgfältig gepflegt und sauber gehalten. Ein Ort, an dem man sich willkommen fühlt und die Natur genießen kann.
eher ein Stern, weil dreckig. Aber gut drumherum kann man gut essen usw. Sonst kein Grund wieder zu kommen.

Nice beach.. clean sands and few water activities for those interested in surfing. There are few options for food and snacks. Shades for a fee are available.
